How Gravity Blankets Became Synonymous with Weighted Coverings

Gravity Blankets is the consumer market leader in weighted blankets, credited with creating an entirely new category of consumer product following the success of a Kickstarter campaign in 2017. Following their initial success, the brand needed to develop a sustainable comms strategy that would ensure they weren’t eclipsed by any of the hundreds of competitors that entered the market soon after their launch.

We partnered with Gravity to develop a calendarized plan aimed at securing coverage within key publications around prominent holidays, from Mother’s and Father’s Day to the winter holidays, and much more. At the core of this strategy was our plan to ensure Gravity appeared in relevant gift guides. Through a mix of earned outreach, broadcast product segment appearances and affiliate marketing, Gravity Blankets dominated coverage a never ceded to its competitors.
