This role is to support the day to day needs of Raven’s Speakers Bureau, the department focused on helping secure conference and podcast speaking opportunities for clients. This includes, but is not limited to, research and assessment of speaking opportunities, clear and succinct writing (bios, reports, interview prep docs, etc.), compiling lists and tracking press in spreadsheets, scheduling meetings and overall organization or communications between Raven speakers bureau and clients. The associate will be point on the below day-to-day tasks:
- Researching conference and podcast opportunities
- Bureau support: Scheduling, organizing files on server, taking detailed call notes/docs, general office organization
- Client reporting, primarily in spreadsheet form (press trackers, status, etc.)
- Answer client needs and requests, keeping Speakers Bureau Director informed
- Podcast software management
- Prepare background/prep documents for speaking engagements
Skills required:
- Proficient writer, clear communicator
- Proficiency in Google docs: spreadsheets creation/management, organization of docs within Google drive, ability to collaborate on writing projects withing Google docs
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Skilled at research
- Knowledge of the advertising industry is a plus
